What's your role?
I am a Trainee Solicitor in the Court of Protection Team.
Your experience
I completed my BSc Criminology and Psychology with honours at Kingston University in 2018 achieving a First. After completing my degree, I travelled Thailand before completing my Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Law, Guildford. I then travelled Bali and Australia before starting my Legal Practice Course with a Masters in Law, where I achieved a commendation. During this time I trained to be an Advisor at Citizen’s Advice.
Following the completion of my LPC LLM, I worked as a Pro Bono Assistant Team Leader at an organisation in Guildford where I oversaw a team drafting Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders for Litigant in Person clients. I dealt wide a wide variety of matters relating to domestic violence, childcare proceedings, child care applications and home rights.
I commenced my Training Contract with the Firm in September 2021.
