What's your role?

My role involves assisting solicitors, legal executives and conveyancers with property transactions in the New Homes Team. I liaise with solicitors, mortgage lenders, housing developers and governmental agencies to progress transactions. I have an in-depth understanding of Help to Buy requirements for new build purchases.
A standard day in the New Homes Team involves; assisting clients with queries on the transaction process, preparing for completion, logging correspondence, processing payments, submitting local searches and drafting letters relating to exchange and completion.

I help clients by explaining the next steps in the transaction and provide regular updates. My role involves making clients aware of what is required from them and updating housing developers as to the progress of the transaction. I support conveyancers with all aspects of a sale and purchase and I am direct point of contact for clients if they have any questions.

Your experience?

I have two years experience in the New Homes Team and have a comprehensive understanding of new build property transactions.

I graduated from Bournemouth University in 2016 with a first class honours degree in Law (LLB). I am enrolling on the Legal Practice Course at The University of Law in Guildford in 2019 before starting a training contract with Coffin Mew in 2020.
