What's your role?
I am a Senior Associate Solicitor in the Employment Team providing commercial, practical and plain-speaking advice on all aspects of employment law and HR.
I work with a wide range of employers, including private and public sector organisations and with individuals.
As a team we work closely with our clients to get to know them and to understand how they operate and their objectives so that we can work in partnership. Businesses that I have worked with have described me as an extension to their team and have praised me for my commercial and plain speaking advice.
I also regularly speak at events and seminars and provide in-house training to employers on a number of employment focused topics.
Your experience
I qualified in 2012 having obtained a degree in law and then achieving a distinction on the Legal Practice Course.
Prior to joining Coffin Mew I qualified as a solicitor and was then promoted to Associate and then Senior Associate at a National firm. I spent 13 years in total with the firm working across the South and then heading up the Southampton employment team. I was part of the consumer markets and education sector core groups.
I have been praised by my clients for truly understanding their businesses and for acting as part of their team, delivering commercial and practical advice to help them achieve their objectives.
