What’s your role?

I provide administrative support for the HR team, being a point of contact for HR related queries, administering HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment and ensuring the relevant HR database is up to date and accurate.

Your experience?

Most of my working experience has been in an office-based environment.
My last role was as PA to the Administrator of Ascension Island, a role I held for nearly seven years. In addition I was Clerk to the Ascension Island Council and Secretary of the A. I. Safeguarding Children Board.
As part of a small but busy office we dealt with a variety of tasks including preparing passport applications, handling diplomatic mail and arranging official functions.
My past experience has also included admin positions within Facilities Management, Retail and Tourism. While I have worked mostly in St Helena and Ascension Island, I have also worked in London as a Nanny and with Companies House in Cardiff.
