Chartered Legal Executive - New Homes
What’s your role?
I am a Chartered Legal Executive in the New Homes team.
I act for Clients in their purchase of new build properties, related sales and part exchanges. I ensure that my Client’s sales and purchases progress simultaneously to provide a seamless transaction.
Having acted for both developers and buyers, I understand the needs of both the seller and buyer. This enables me to guide buyers through the process and ensure that their transaction goes through smoothly and in a timely manner.
To provide an efficient service I attend meetings with the developers and site personnel. This ensures that the Client’s transaction runs as smoothly as possible with all parties involved.
I started working in the legal profession in 2003. I moved into conveyancing in 2005 where I gained experience in dealing with plot sales on behalf of both national housebuilders and smaller, local developers.
During this time I also studied law at the Ilex Tutorial College where I sat my exams. I qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2011.
I have experience of working with private clients, developers and lenders on a variety of plot sales, residential sale and purchases, commercial property sale and purchases, repossession sales and new homes transactions.
During the course of my legal career, I have worked in both property law and dispute resolution. With my previous experience and studying land law and conveyancing, this allows me to provide advice on all aspects of my Client’s transaction.

Lisa actively looked for ways to co-operate to get the job done. She was happy to work with anyone who could move the process forward. A good balance of keeping me in the loop and getting on with the job.
