Chartered Legal Executive - Wills, Trusts and Probate
What's your role?
I deal with the administration of estates, advising and guiding clients through the process.
Advising on and preparing Wills to ensure that clients’ wishes are put in place including Inheritance Tax advice, if appropriate.
Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney so that clients can be assured that their affairs will be properly handled. Also advising on and helping with registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney.
Prior to joining Charles Lucas & Marshall I worked in the Private Client department of another firm of Solicitors where I qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1990.
After a five year break to look after my young family, I joined Charles Lucas & Marshall in 2011 initially as a paralegal in the firm’s Private Client department. In 2014 I renewed my Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
I have always lived and worked in the Newbury area and have many years experience of private client work and acting for individuals and families.
