What’s your role?

My role of HR Manager is an active, people focused role that plays a key part in enabling delivery of the firm’s HR strategy.

Part of my role is to build trusting, open and effective relationships with our Team Leaders, Partners and employees and be their go-to person for informed, understanding and empathetic advice and support.

My role supports all aspects of the employee life cycle through day to day people practices whilst also working with the wider Firm on projects and initiatives that contribute towards its overall goals.

Your experience

I joined Coffin Mew eleven years ago, starting out as a legal secretary in the Corporate Commercial Team. Then in 2009 I moved into HR where I have been developing and growing my role, including gaining the relevant qualifications. I am just about to start the CIPD Level 5 Intermediate Award in Employment Law to add to my qualifications.

Prior to joining Coffin Mew I worked in the Corporate Recovery Team of one of the big four accountancy firms.
