Jennifer Packer

Solicitor - Corporate

What's your role?

I advise on a wide range of corporate transactions including acquisitions, disposals and corporate restructurings. I also advise clients on joint ventures, shareholding arrangements and corporate governance issues.

I work closely with clients ranging from companies, directors, LLPs, partnerships and sole traders advising them on all aspects of corporate and commercial law and providing practical and commercially relevant advice and solutions.

Your experience

I work with clients right from the outset of their business, advising them in relation to their corporate structure and constitutional issues including shareholders’ agreements, joint venture agreements and bespoke articles.

Once up and running, I work closely with businesses in relation to any day to day legal issues that arise including assisting them with their contractual arrangements both with customers and suppliers together with any company secretarial and corporate governance matters.

As a business expands and changes I am involved in its restructuring, reorganisation and re-financing often working closely with the business’ accountants and tax advisers. As part of a business’ expansion and growth strategies, I commonly assist with the acquisition of other businesses or companies.

Finally, when it comes to the time to exit, I advise on business and company sales.
