Office Administrator

What’s your role?

I am the Office Administrator for the Practice Support team.

Your experience?

I have over 25 years experience in an office environment.  My last role was working within a Facilities Management team for nearly 18 years.  My role now is similar to that. I sort the post in-coming and out-going, stationery ordering, tea-station supplies, office maintenance, liaising with suppliers.  I am naturally very clean and tidy, so that fits in with this role, I also like organising rooms and keeping things in order.

Three things we didn’t know about you?

  • I am a keen walker.  I tend to go for coastal walks. Saturdays are walking days, and any time off.  My walks are generally local, but I can be away for some hours.
  • I am a keen bird watcher, whilst on my walks, especially in the winter months, I am looking out for birds that have arrived from Northern Europe, to the mudflats and coastal areas.
  • As well as bird spotting, I live with two birds.  I have a Cockatiel and a Hahns Macaw,  who can sometimes get a little lively!
