What's your role?

My role as a Legal Assistant is to provide a high level of administrative support to the New Homes team.

This involves assisting and liaising with Solicitors, Legal Executives, Mortgage Lenders, Brokers, Developers and Local Councils to progress transactions. I also have an in-depth understanding of Help to Buy requirements for new build purchases and deal with Help to Buy agencies on a daily basis.

I support the Conveyancers and Solicitors in the team with all aspects of a sale and purchase and I am direct point of contact for clients if they have any questions as well as being on hand to explain the next steps in the transaction and providing regular updates to them.

Your experience

I have previously worked in law firms in all aspects of law for over 30 years. I have been working in the conveyancing sector for the last 5 years which has given me a vast knowledge and background in conveyancing and client service skills.
