What's my role?

As a family law solicitor I support clients who may be going through the difficult process of a relationship breakdown including divorce, separation and resolving the financial arrangements. I provide guidance on how to progress these matters in the most honest, pragmatic and cost-effective approach as possible. I often work on cases that involve fairly unusual elements such as complex pension schemes, business interests and valuable assets.

I also advise clients who find themselves involved in a dispute concerning the contact arrangements for their children. It is important to approach these cases with transparency and where there is a significant risk of harm to victims of domestic abuse and/or their children, I have advised and supported clients through the emergency injunction application process in attempt to obtain non-molestation orders and where appropriate, occupation orders.

I recognise that all cases are different and each client deserves a bespoke and trusting relationship with their solicitor. I never lose sight of the humanity required in each case and I know how important it is to approach the matter with integrity, respect and purpose.

My experience

I graduated from the University of Surrey with a 2.1 in Law and International Relations in 2017. I completed the Legal Practice Course the following year at the University of Law in Guildford.

I qualified as a solicitor in 2020 having also completed my training contact with Coffin Mew. I spent the second year of my training within the family team, gaining a wealth of experience and familiarity with our clients. Prior to this, I worked closely with the specialist Court of Protection Team advising vulnerable clients and assisting as part of a team instructed by the Panel Deputy to manage the matters of clients with complex financial circumstances and care needs.

I also spent a significant period of time working as part of the New Homes team, assisting solicitors and conveyancing executives with the progression of new-build purchases and related sale transactions. I have a comprehensive understanding of property matters and consider this fundamental when advising family clients on a variety of complex matters such as high value assets and the consequential legal issues that may arise where a relationship has broken down.
