What's your role?

I am a Partner within our Commercial Property team specialising in Agriculture and Rural Business, acting for both claimants and defendants in a variety of agriculture and industry related disputes. Primarily working across the Thames Valley and central south region, I specialise in specific areas of law relevant to farmers, landowners and agribusinesses:

  1. Commercial/agricultural litigation (e.g. contract, property and partnership disputes, professional negligence claims, CAP/EU scheme disputes)
  2. Public rights of way/village greens – acting on behalf of landowners objecting to applications brought by the public/interest groups for the establishment or upgrading of public rights of way/village greens. Assisting landowners with diversion applications and gating orders.
  3. Defending prosecutions brought by various criminal/regulatory authorities including DEFRA, Trading Standards and the police.I specialise in helping clients with farming disputes including commodities, property and partnership disputes, disputes over public rights of way.



Member of Agricultural Law Association (2000), NFU Professional (2006), CLA (2014), Royal South Bucks Agricultural Association (2014).

Legal adviser at NFU HQ for over 5 years.
