Chris Unsworth

Solicitor - Catastrophic Injury and Clinical Negligence

What’s your role?

I act for victims of clinical negligence, catastrophic injury and those who have been exposed to asbestos. I am here to assist clients step by step throughout their claim, both in terms of the law, but also the practical realities of living with their injuries and how best to assist them.

Whether that be through obtaining interim payments to help pay for rehabilitation costs, or putting in place care plans for the future. Each client is an individual with their own unique circumstances and while pursuing a claim can be a stressful time, by keeping the client fully up to date and involved with the process, I hope to make it as seamless as possible.

Your experience

I am a qualified Solicitor and joined Coffin Mew in November 2015, having previously worked at a Southampton based firm. I have broad experience in dealing with high value and complex personal injury, clinical negligence and occupational disease claims, regularly obtaining settlements of hundreds of thousands of pounds.

I provide clear advice to clients in what is a stressful and difficult period in their lives, and help to find answers to their questions of what has happened to them and who is responsible.
