Chris Brierley

Senior Associate Solicitor - Head of Residential Property (Thames Valley)

What's your role?

I lead the Thames Valley Region Residential Property team and specialise in all aspects of residential property transactions including buying and selling properties, extending leases and completing mortgages.

My role is to lead and support my team in our Newbury, Wantage and Swindon offices, whilst maintaining a mixed case load of my own in our Newbury office.

I feel that client experience is central to the service we perform and strive to make that the best I can, this is the focus of my work and that of my team.

Your experience

I qualified as a Solicitor in 2008 working in a firm in North London. I stayed at that firm for 9 years working from Assistant Solicitor to Partner. During that time I specialised in residential property law and compliance and was responsible for managing and maintaining that firm’s Lexcel quality standard.

I moved to Charles Lucas & Marshall in 2015 to take the role of Head of Residential Property where I have enjoyed the challenge of working in a new location with a great team of people.

Charles Lucas & Marshall have now merged with Coffin Mew and I am pleased to be part of the Coffin Mew team looking forward to growing the Thames Valley residential property team focused on delivering a great customer service.
