Bryan Scant

Solicitor - Family

What's your role?

I assist clients who are going through the difficult process of a divorce or separation by providing them with help, advice and guidance on how to progress their matter in a cost effective and as painless manner as possible.

In particular, I have an interest in advising clients who are involved in disputes concerning the arrangements for children.  I have a solid background in matters such as these and my experience includes advising clients on international relocation with children, advising parents on contact arrangements when there is a history of domestic abuse and advising clients on appealing a decision of the family court.

I pride myself on being able to build a positive working relationship with my clients, which is both friendly and informal.

Your experience

I have been a qualified solicitor since 2013 having undertaken my training at a high street firm in Poole, Dorset.  My training consisted of private client, property and family work which has given me a solid understanding of the variety of legal issues that can arise from a relationship breakdown.

In addition, I have experience of obtaining emergency injunctions for both victims of domestic abuse and their children and advised clients on the impact of domestic abuse on the arrangements for children.
