Paralegal - Commercial Property
What's your role?
I am a Paralegal in the Commercial Property team. I work across different areas of commercial property but with a particular focus on pension investment property. My caseload comprises various property management matters, including grants of Leases and Licences, and dealing with surrenders of Leases of property.
I work closely with my clients and all other parties in a transaction to ensure an efficient and smooth process from start to finish. I like to really get to know my clients and their businesses in order to improve my understanding of how to help them most throughout the process.
My career in Coffin Mew started in the New Homes team where I worked as a Legal Assistant for over a year. This is a fast paced team that acts for purchasers of new build properties and works to the tight deadlines set by developers.
I then moved into the Commercial Property team to work as a Paralegal with my own caseload. My previous experience means I understand the importance of working diligently and methodically to reach my client’s objectives.
I am currently studying towards becoming a Licensed Conveyancer and hope to qualify soon.
