Legal Assistant - Residential Property
What's your role?
I act for clients in aspects of residential conveyancing including sales, purchases, re-mortgages and new builds. I have extensive experience in transfer of equity cases including transfers of property following divorce proceedings. I pride myself in delivering excellent service to my clients. My aim is to provide a clear understanding of the technical issues, deal with problems calmly to find my clients the best solutions and to move swiftly to completion.
I qualified as a solicitor in 2004 at a Law firm in Reading. I then went on to join a large firm of solicitors in Buckinghamshire who predominantly dealt with property matters and known as market leaders in their speciality. During my first few years at this firm I solely managed the transfer of equity and remortgage department in which I excelled. I decided to move to a role of general conveyancer after the initial period, as I desired a wider scope of property work.
I joined Charles Lucas & Marshall, now Coffin Mew in January 2016 where I am a solicitor in the firm’s Residential Property team in the Wantage office.
