Coffin Mew advises Just Develop It on investment in Gradlancer

Coffin Mew Solicitors has advised Hampshire based investment business, Just Develop It, on its significant investment in yet another local start-up – Gradlancer, the UK’s first student services marketplace.

Gradlancer connects university students to freelance opportunities so they can work, learn and earn while they study. It not only allows students to find meaningful, flexible work around their university courses, but provides businesses with affordable, skilled students to work on a project to project basis – taking the hassle out of finding part time work, internships and placements.

Just Develop It CEO, Chris Phillips, commented:

Gradlancer has been founded by three young, local entrepreneurs who saw a gap in the market and had an original and innovative idea on how to fill it. They approached Just Develop It directly for investment and I was impressed by their work ethic and how keen they were to get this business off the ground, so I was more than happy to help.

Ben Alfrey, Co-founder of Gradlancer added:

The financial investment from Just Develop It has allowed Gradlancer to really get off the ground. Not only are we in the process of developing a new website but Just Develop It has also been able to supply us with offices, help with our marketing and provide PR support. Their investment has been invaluable and their support will continue to be long into the future.

Just Develop It were advised by Nick Gross of the firm’s Corporate Team. Nick said:

I have been working with Just Develop It for some time in relation to various investments it has made. I hope this one is a great success for both Just Develop It and the founders.
