The Corporate team at Coffin Mew has advised chartered accountancy firm CW Fellowes on the disposal of business and assets to top 25 chartered accountancy and business advisory firm Wilkins Kennedy.
The merger, which completed on 8th November, saw nine directors and 70 staff join Wilkins Kennedy. Wilkins Kennedy will also take over offices in Southampton and Portsmouth boosting its office numbers to 15 nationwide.
The merger, one of the largest in Wilkins Kennedy’s 130 years history, is the latest in a series of takeovers for the firm which has seen their headcount rise to 62 partners and over 500 employees.
The firm has a long-standing relationship with CW Fellowes and we are delighted to have assisted the company and its shareholders on this disposal.
