Coffin Mew has triumphed at the Naomi House & Jacksplace Corporate Awards – being named the Best Business-Charity Partnership and scooping the judges’ Special Recognition Award.

These awards come following 18-months of fundraising by Coffin Mew to benefit the two Hampshire charities, raising more than £12,000

The firm’s innovative approach to fundraising was recognised with the Best Business-Charity Partnership award, highlighting all the effort that goes in to creating a successful relationship. To this end, Coffin Mew was named a ‘champion of the community’ for its efforts on behalf of Naomi House & Jacksplace.

Coffin Mew was also presented with the prestigious Special Recognition Award, as chosen by the Awards’ panel of judges, in celebration of the law firm’s longstanding relationship with Naomi House & Jacksplace.

The awards organisers commented: “Coffin Mew’s input extends beyond fundraising; using its organisational expertise to give advice to staff, facilitating networking events to raise our profile, sponsoring our events, and continually finding new and innovative ways of supporting us.

“Our partnership is borne out of a real understanding of each other’s goals and objectives, and working together to maximise that synergy.”
Annabelle Vaughan, Partner at Coffin Mew, who has led the firm’s fundraising efforts added: “We are thrilled to win not just one but two awards at the Naomi House & Jacksplace Corporate Awards.

We take pride in helping a local charity find the funds it so vitally needs. Naomi House & Jacksplace has exciting plans in the pipeline, and everyone at Coffin Mew is looking forward to seeing the money we have raised contribute to that great future.

The Awards were presented at a ceremony at The Winchester Science Centre on 2 November 2016.
