Coffin Mew recognised as leading family law firm
Coffin Mew has been recognised as a leading family law firm by being shortlisted in the Family Law Firm of the Year – South category.
The awards series was launched back in 2013 in recognition and to celebrate the important work done by family lawyers. Coffin Mew was shortlisted for the award by an independent panel made up of representatives of the Family Law Bar Association, Resolution, the Association of Lawyers for Children, and CILEx, as well as Family Law editors and publishing executives.
The team of course would have loved to have come away with the winning prize, but there were a number of excellent firms in the running this year and the competition was strong.
Julie-Ann Harris, Head of Family at Coffin Mew, said: “the shortlisting of the firm, during what has been such a difficult year for so many, has been incredible. The shortlisting reflects the hard work of each and every member of the team here at Coffin Mew and the family team is delighted to have caught the eyes of the judges against phenomenal competition.
Our team are actively encouraged to develop their speciality and are given space to identify, grow and develop their chosen specialism. No one size fits all at Coffin Mew, the firm and team celebrates diversity, engagement and motivation. We challenge the stereotype of law firm working –we don’t wear suits to the office, we are confident in our ability and relaxed, which helps clients mirror our behaviour who are often surprised yet reassured by our unique attitude.
The virtual ceremony held on 25 November was a resounding success and we very much look forward to the awards next year.”
