Coffin Mew announces two strategic promotions
Leading South East law firm Coffin Mew is pleased to announce the promotion of two lawyers this week.
Adrian McClinton is promoted to Partner and Hannah Rowlatt is promoted to Associate. Both promotions will boost the firm’s growing focus on key market sectors.
Adrian joined Coffin Mew’s Brighton office two years ago as a property litigation specialist with extensive experience of real estate disputes, and landlord and tenant law. He will be working with Derek Walsh, head of the firm’s Agriculture & Rural Business sector, to grow a newly formed Property Litigation team representing clients with interests across the country. The team acts for commercial and residential property businesses, pension funds, farmers, landed estates and agribusinesses in a wide variety of property-related disputes.
Hannah Rowlatt qualified as a solicitor in 2016 after completing a bespoke Court of Protection training contract with the law firm in Portsmouth. Since then, she has developed a specialism in complex contentious property and affairs matters such as statutory wills and gifts. She also manages a portfolio of deputyships and has had success in securing NHS and local authority funding for clients with complex care needs.
Miles Brown, CEO of Coffin Mew, said:
Our relentless focus is on our clients. We take the time to understand our clients’ personal objectives and challenges, clients’their businesses and the industries in which they operate. We do that by investing in the very best people, such as Adrian and Hannah, and by strengthening our sector programme. Clients in the Agriculture & Rural Business and Care & Protection sectors will benefit greatly from their expertise. The firm has grown substantially in the past year and these promotions are part of a wider growth strategy across all of our office locations.
Liz Cheaney, HR Director at Coffin Mew, said:
At Coffin Mew we recognise and reward top performance and talent, and are building a firm of personable, professional and entrepreneurial people who are always looking for new ways to successfully support our clients.
