Coffin Mew announces three Associate promotions
Leading South-East law firm Coffin Mew has announced three new Associates following its most recent round of promotions.
Charlotte Allery, Danielle Cranstone and Natalie Marsh have each been promoted to Associate, in recognition of their excellent technical skills, their commitment to providing the very best service to their clients and their positive contribution to the firm.
Charlotte is a Solicitor in the Employment team, and is a member of the Technology sector, as well as a member of Coffin Mew’s CSR Committee.
Charlotte advises clients on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious workplace matters. Her experience spans advising on day-to-day HR matters including exiting staff, disciplinary issues and grievances, as well as the drafting of contracts and policies, and advising on complex settlements.
Leon Deakin, Partner – Head of Employment, said: “Charlotte’s promotion is thoroughly well deserved and recognition for the hard work and significant contribution she has made to the Employment team and firm as a whole. Charlotte is liked and trusted by clients and has played a key role in developing our business immigration offering and technology sector expertise. Her specialist GDPR knowledge and calm approach has been an asset particularly in the last few months as the employment law landscape has developed and changed at break neck speed.”
Danielle is a Solicitor in the Property Litigation team, and advises both business and individual clients on a wide range of contentious property cases, both commercial and residential. This includes boundary disputes, possession matters and dilapidation claims.
Before commencing her, litigation-heavy, training contract, Danielle was a Paralegal in Coffin Mew’s Commercial Property team, which has given her extensive knowledge of the property sector.
Adrian McClinton, Partner – Property Litigation, said: “Danielle’s promotion evidences all her hard work and commitment to becoming a better lawyer. Danielle is a real team player, and we are lucky to have her at Coffin Mew. ”
Natalie is a Chartered Legal Executive and part of the firm’s specialist New Homes team. Here, Natalie supports clients throughout the entire process of purchasing a new build property, from reserving a property through to exchanging and completing.
Natalie joined Coffin Mew shortly after completing her degree at the University of Portsmouth, and, after working in a variety of roles, now manages her own substantial caseload.
Karen Webb, Partner – Head of New Homes, said: “Natalie joined the New Homes team in 2013 and is an excellent example of how someone who is focused, works hard and who is ambitious can succeed. Natalie has always excelled at every level she has worked within the team and thus progressed quickly from file opening clerk to conveyancer to supervisor. This is promotion thoroughly deserved.”
